6 months old!

The boys are 6 months old today. We went to the pediatrician's office and Calin is 17lbs 8oz and 27 inches and Cade is 16lbs 1oz and 26.5 inches. Tom is in Spain this week so we are going to try and stay busy!

Actually I am fine with just formula...

Today we tried rice cereal with the boys for the first time. They were not that excited about it and most of it did run out of their mouths. I think if we were to put the cereal on their fingers we might have better results!

They have no idea what's coming...

No more needed, I'm actually full now...

Ha! You tried but nothing made it in!
That was not cool.

Hanging out in Dublin

During our stay in Dublin we were able to see Aunt Brooke and cousins Owen and Bailey often. The boys loved swinging on the swingset.

Calin cracked up every time the swing squeaked

Victims of Hurricane Ike

Hurricane Ike winds came through and knocked out power all over Columbus. We lost power on Sunday and got it back on Saturday night. Tom's parents took us in and the boys loved seeing their cousins and Grandpa. Unfortunately Grandma Shelley was out of town that week.

Our boys are getting bigger every day.

The boys first trip to the zoo

The boys and I went to the zoo today with Brooke, Owen, Bailey and my friend Shannon. Shannon and I have known each other since pre-school and her two boys loved seeing all the animals. Her youngest is a couple months older than the twins. We had a great time at the zoo and the boys were very good the entire time--some napping helped!
Bailey and Owen loved showing the boys their favorite animals.

The boys' first fight

Tom and I might have to talk to the boys about sharing...

Go Bucks!

Watching the bucks makes us thirsty!
