The boys both have two more teeth coming through the top gum. Cade's teeth are coming in right to left and Calin's are coming in left to right! We haven't noticed a hand preference yet. Both boys have been chewing on anything in sight, especially Calin. He's usually content hanging out in the same spot while Cade is busy exploring anything in sight.


I love this picture of Cade. It looks like he is giving the evil eye.

Updates at 10 months old

The boys are army crawling all over the place now and it's a workout just trying to change the diaper of a baby constantly trying to roll over! Both boys also have 2 teeth popping through their top gums. After being sick recently both boys lost some weight and Cade ended up catching up to Calin a little bit. Calin is exactly an inch taller at 29.8" and weighs 9.5 oz more at 20lbs 11.5oz. Cade is 28.8" inches tall and 20lbs 2oz. Cade loves standing up and always wants us to hold his hands so he can explore. Calin likes to sit and play with the toys on the ground.
Both boys are curious what's under the rug.


Cade has the pacifier in the picture but right after taking it Calin grabbed it from Cade who had to hold on!

Both boys standing and playing. How about Calin's hair! After naps it's all over the place and so cute.


Whatever one is doing the other wants to do it too. Cade is a little more aggressive but Calin doesn't care and always smiles!

Time to lower the crib!

Cade showed us a new trick he must've been practicing when he was suppose to be sleeping... Calin isn't as motivated to stand up, just content to watch his brother and laugh.
Cade started by holding on to the rungs of the crib, then getting to his knees and finally to standing. Within 2 days he can now go from sitting to standing in a second! Also, Tom and I didn't think about taking down the mobile over his crib. He took it down for us! Time for super glue...

Kleenex please

Unfortunately both boys and eventually the two of us came down with really bad colds after Christmas. I don't even know how many Kleenex boxes we went through! Poor little guys had trouble sleeping, eating and just wanted to be held. But we all made it and it was so nice to see the boys smiling again.
