First Haircut and first snow!
The boys had their first haircuts and were very patient. We were thinking we would just trim up the back but it was better to just cut everything! The boys loved being pulled up and down the driveway in their sleds. Cade loved eating the snow and Calin kept taking his gloves off. They didn't know what to think of the snowflakes coming down. We're looking forward to many more snow adventures!

Merry Christmas!
We love having fires and the boys have been very good watching them from a distance.
The first fire Cade saw he couldn't stop laughing at it. Not sure why but it was funny.
The boys enjoying Grandma Shelley's cookies!

Calin thought this was the day he could fit past the lock and chain right into the pantry! Every part but his head made it. At first he was crying because he was stuck and then because I took pictures instead of helping....

Cade got a fat lip so here are both boys enjoying popsicles.

I'm guessing 5lbs of hair at least. I think they're ready to join an 80s rock band!

We took the 30 minute tour at the Zoo Lights. It was very pretty but it became dark close to bedtime so we had to leave in a hurry.

Visit with Santa. 1 out of 2 isn't bad.

Christmas morning! The boys loved opening their presents!

Fa la la la-21 months old!!
"Hey, there's the one ornament!" We decided to decorate the tree lightly this year as we didn't know if the boys would tackle the tree. Not to worry though, they were able to knock ornaments off their grandparents' tree.

"You guys aren't standing on the couch are you??" or "No hitting the blinds!" Those phrases are said on a daily basis. It's kind of cute how they dive into the couch and hide behind the pillows like they weren't doing anything wrong.

Finally we were able to get a picture for our Christmas cards. Just a few tears before Dad was able to make them smile.

This is such a sweet picture. I love how Calin is looking at Cade.
The real reason they were laughing, no pants!

November-20 months old
The boys had a visit from their friend Caroline and her parents Julie and Geoff. They were very interested in her and liked getting a close up view.

The boys love apples and are always asking for one as a snack. I gave them a whole one to see how they'd do and the skin was not a favorite to eat but they liked "peeling" it off.

Thanksgiving was fun seeing all of the cousins but the boys were not fans of turkey! Or stuffing?! If only they knew what they were missing...

The boys are always up for a game of peek a boo:)

The boys reading their FAVORITE books. The books are barely holding on even with a roll of packing tape holding them together. Calin has been pointing to different objects when Tom asks where they are on the page.

Happy Halloween!!
7 houses!! We made it to 7 houses and lasted 35 minutes. The boys were not scared of strange people handing out candy and actually tried climbing into a couple people's houses! Calin was a bat who did not like to keep his hood on and Cade was a chicken--a very happy chicken! Uncles JR and Brian came over to see the boys dressed up.

The boys always had at least one piece of candy in their hands--keeping the chocolate ones nice and warm.

Time out
We've started to put the boys in time out using a pack 'n play. Calin doesn't like being put in it but Cade loves it! If Calin is in time out, Cade will wait by the pnp and then cry to get in it. Maybe he likes getting some alone time? He usually just lays down and enjoys no one stealing toys or wrestling with him.

It looks like Cade is about to bite Calin over the sit 'n spin. Biting is one of the things that they have been "jailed" for recently.

Playtime
Uncle Brian stopped by to play with the nephews.
Oooo! Can I use your blackberry?
Calin, Owen, and Cade. Getting 3 little ones to all look at the camera is not an easy task!
Cousin Owen
Cade was pushing Owen until he was distracted by a book.
The boys love their sit 'n spin!

We met up with friends Luke and Brenna at a park. The boys like watching/copying older Luke play on the playground.

Always checking for an escape route.
