Seeing things a little clearer now

The boys have been noticing brightly colored objects around them recently.

They have been more active on their playmats too. Sometimes wondering what polyester tastes like...By the look on Calin's face not too good!

Leahy shower

Here are some pictures of a shower for my sister and I thrown by our Leahy relatives. It was great for my aunts and cousins to meet Calin and Cade.

3 months old!

Today the boys are 3 months old and growing every day! The boys are smiling more often and respond when we smile at them. Calin smiling in his sleep. We wonder what he is thinking about??
It's been hard to capture Cade smiling because every time I grab the camera to take a picture he sees it and stops smiling. He just stares at the camera and is fascinated by it. So if I want a picture of him smiling I have to hold the camera below my face.

Tom's gone for the week!

Tom was out of town this week for work and somehow we all survived. The first night away Tom said he fell asleep at 10pm and his alarm woke him at 6am! He said it was great remembering what sleep was like. The boys and I kept busy and worked on their napping. Luckily, Tom's sister Meredith came over to see the boys and helped when she had some free time. On Monday the boys had a doctor's appointment and Calin weighed 11lbs 13oz and Cade weighed 10lbs 10oz.

Here the boys are enjoying some of their last days in the one crib. Recently they have been more mobile in their sleep and would end up right on top of each other waking the other one up. This upcoming weekend we are putting together the second crib.

The boys were very awake and playful after their baths. You can see the slight difference in size. Cade is on the left and Calin is on the right.Cade looks like he is trying to tell Calin something. I wonder if Cade is already conspiring against his parents...

Smiles!

Last week both Calin and Cade gave us their first smiles on the same day! Since then we have been trying to capture the smiles and Calin gave us a show! Tom and I get so excited when they smile it makes us forget all the sleepless nights.

Brotherly Love

All the hard work is paying off!

I came home from working out and found Tom had put Calin in the BebePod. I couldn't believe he was sitting up(with some help from a blanket)! We had been working on keeping his head up but I didn't expect him to do so well on his first try.
We had both Calin and Cade trying it again a week later.
Cade was a little unsure of what was going on...He was happier back in his boppy.
